1. What we collect and why

"Personal information" here means anything that identifies you or could reasonably be tied back to you.

Accounts. When you create an account, we ask for your name, email, phone number, a username and a password. We can see activity tied to your account and any product preferences you share with us. This lets us set up and run your account and deliver what you signed up for.

Orders. Buying something means giving us your name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, and payment information. Payment details are handled by our payment processor [name it here]; we don't store full card numbers on our own servers. This information is what lets us process and ship your order.

Reviews. If you write a product review, we keep whatever you submit. We use this to share feedback publicly and to improve our products over time.

Partners and vendors. If your company does business with us, we collect basic contact information (name, email, phone) to manage that relationship and, occasionally, limited background information where the law allows it.

Cookies and analytics. We use cookies to understand how people use our site. More detail is in section 3 below.

Email activity. We can see when you open our emails, what you click, and whether it leads to a purchase, which helps us send you things you actually want to read.

Support requests. Contact us for help and we'll have your name, email, and whatever you wrote to us, so we can reply.

Mobile devices. Visiting our site or app from a phone may let us collect device identifiers, mainly to tell visitors apart and understand mobile usage.

Newsletter and mailing list. Signing up gives us your name, email or mailing address, phone number, and sometimes your job title, so we can send you updates and offers.

Social media. We look at how people interact with us on social platforms to understand engagement and plan content.

Site behavior. We track pages visited, links clicked, and form entries, along with basic device and browser information, to make the site work better and catch fraud.

Technical logs. Every visit generates a browser type, IP address, device ID, and timestamp automatically, which helps us keep the site secure and diagnose problems.

Job applicants. If you apply for a role (even through a third-party job board), we may collect your name, location, work history, references, and resume. Depending on the role and where you're located, we may collect additional information the law permits us to ask for.

Quizzes and recommendation tools. If you use a product-match quiz, we may collect health-related answers you choose to give us, only as far as applicable law allows, in order to recommend products that fit.

Location. Your device or IP address can tell us your general location, which we use to show correct pricing, availability, and language.

Text messages. Signing up for texts means you agree to get marketing messages from us, possibly through automated systems, at the number you provide. You never have to sign up to make a purchase. Reply STOP anytime to opt out. We don't sell your information to other companies for their marketing.

Promotions. We use your contact details to tell you about new products and sales.

Most of this comes directly from you. Some we observe automatically as you use the site. Occasionally we get information from other sources, like marketing partners. If you don't want to share something, that's fine, though it may mean we can't complete certain requests.

2. How we share information

We may share personal information with:

  • Vendors who help us operate, such as payment processors, shipping companies, hosting providers, and similar. They're required to protect your data at least as well as we do.
  • Any affiliated companies, as needed to run the business.
  • A buyer or successor, if we're ever acquired or sell the business.
  • Courts, regulators, or law enforcement, when legally required, or when we believe it's necessary to prevent harm or fraud.
  • Anyone, if the data has been anonymized so it no longer identifies you.
  • Any other party you specifically ask us to share with.

3. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar tools across our site and in our emails.

Some cookies are essential: they keep the site secure and working properly. You can block these through your browser, though parts of the site may stop working correctly.

We also use analytics tools, currently [name your analytics provider], to understand traffic patterns. You can look up their data practices and opt-out options directly on their site.

Advertising cookies help us and our ad partners show you relevant ads, including reminders about items left in your cart. Our separate Cookie Policy covers this in more detail.

4. Data security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of storing or transmitting data online is completely secure, and we can't promise otherwise. If you think something's gone wrong with your account or data, contact us right away. Where the law requires it, we'll let you know if a breach affects you.

5. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it (to serve its original purpose, maintain your account, or meet a legal requirement) and then we get rid of it. Your data may be stored in the US or wherever our vendors operate.

6. Children's privacy

Our site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them without parental consent. If we find out we have, we'll delete it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may be able to:

  • Ask what information we have about you and get a copy of it.
  • Correct anything that's wrong or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your information, with some legal exceptions.
  • Limit how we use your information.
  • Object to certain uses.
  • Get your data in a portable format, or have us send it elsewhere.
  • Withdraw consent, where consent is what we relied on.
  • Unsubscribe from emails or texts at any time.

We won't penalize you for exercising these rights, though some (deletion especially) may limit what we're able to do for you afterward.

If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. How to submit a request

Email us at [privacy email] or call [phone number]. We'll respond within whatever timeframe the law requires, and we may need to verify your identity first. If someone's requesting on your behalf, we'll need proof you've authorized them.

9. A few more details

If we ever offer perks (like free shipping) in exchange for your email, California law may treat that as a financial incentive program. The value is roughly what the perk is worth, minus our cost of providing it.

Our site sometimes links to other sites we don't control. Their privacy practices are their own, so check before sharing information there.

Your data might be processed outside the country you live in. We try to apply consistent protections regardless of where it ends up.

We may update this policy as our practices change. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the new version.
